I feel bloated sometimes, but my pack still is not over. i have finished the first pack and i am almost through with the sencond pack. has anyone else felt the PMS side effects such as bloating, during the time that they are taking the pills?

I am 5′3, 20 years old, and have always weighed between 100-105lbs.
I am able to eat whatever I want (junk food, fast food, etc) and have never had a problem with weight.

I started on the birth control pill (Yasmine) in November 2008, and since then I have gained almost 20lbs. None of my pants that I used to fit into (Size 1) do not fit anymore — I am a size 5. Instead of being an extra small/small shirt size, I am now a medium…Alot of the weight went to my waist/hip/thigh area and it’s really bothering me.. I’ve never in my life had to worry about my weight but when I have to start buying new clothes and I can’t afford it, that’s when I start to get upset..

Is there anything I can do to change this?
Will going on a different pill make a difference?
If I stop taking the pill, will I lose the weight?

I’ve been on yaz for about 3 months and lately I’ve been crying for no reason and feeling extremely depressed, could it be because of the pill?

I have AmeriChoice and I want to get Mirena birth control but I’m not sure if it covered or how i would go about finding out. Can anyone tell me what route I should take?

I have been on Yaz birth control for about 7 months now in hopes to clear up my acne and decrease my cramps. Sure enough my face is clear and my cramps are gone. However, after extreme side effects such as: weight gain, skin rash, breast tenderness, and mood swings, I decided it would be best to come off the pill. Has anyone experienced any problems with coming off Yaz. Is it possible to drop the weight gained on the Yaz when coming off? Thank you all!
